These playoffs keep getting better each night. And Happy Easter fellow hockey fans.

The Blackhawks lost to the Blues and go into game 3 down 2-0. But with the next two games in Chicago the hawks need to turn things around. The Blue Jackets took the Penguins to the 2nd OT and won 4-3 to even the series at a game a piece. And the Avalanche won 4-2 to take a 2-0 series lead. You have to wonder just how far the Avalanche and their lack of playoff experience can guide them in these playoffs. But as long as Nathan MacKinnon can continue to play like he has been they have a shot.

Graeme forgot to post the screenshot yesterday from Vince. Here it is:

Great job there by Vin. I love FanDuel because you can do NBA and MLB and various other sports – looking forward to the NFL season along with fantasy football being able to do that.

Spice up the NHL Playoffs – do Daily Fantasy NHL at FanDuel.

Today we have 4 games taking place and they way they are scheduled it’s a full day of NHL action. Games begin at 12:00pm ET and continue at 3:00, 7:00 and 10:00. I’m hoping my kids have a sugar crash around noon and they sleep it off until at least 5.

Let’s get to the NHL tips for April 20th

Grand Salami: Over 20.5

With the way the playoffs have gone so far you have to like the over here. 4 games so each needs to hit 5 with only one hitting 6 for us to win.

Lots of goals so far and the last game between the Kings and Sharks hit 9 so another game like that and that’s almost half of the Salami in one game.

1.90 for the Grand Salami Over 20.5 at http://www.5Dimes.eu(Need to register to see lines)

Red Wings vs Bruins: Bruins -1.5

I didn’t see the first game ending 1-0 and I defiantly didn’t see it going the Red Wings way but it did.

You really have to like the Bruins chances at a bounce back game as they want to not only even the series but also remind everyone why they are the favorites to win the Stanley Cup this year

The last thing that the Bruins want to do is head to Detroit down 2-0. But if I remember correctly they did need 7 games last year during round one and I’m sure any Leaf fan doesn’t want to be reminded as to what happened then. Got to like a Bruins big win here

Good odds for a Bruins -1.5 win of 2.45 Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.

Playoff Player Prop: Claude Giroux Over 2 Shots

With the Flyers down 1-0 in the series you know the Flyers will be coming out swinging. The Flyers are lead by Giroux and he will be leading by example in this game.

The Flyers lost 4-1 in game one and Giroux had a total of zero shots. They need more from their captain and I expect him to deliver today.

Hi guys! Greetings from Catalonia! What do you think about today canadien’s game? Thanks and congrats for your work!

BetNHL.ca

Nice value on them to win in regulation at 2.05 odds.

happy canadian

lol giroux no shots jeez. For habs i was thinking race to 3, or first goal. thoughts? or -1.5

BetNHL.ca

Yeah he just played a completely different role today. Played great too. Wouldn’t go with first goal – close to a coin flip and 1.74 odds. Habs race to 3 is 2.05 while -1.5 is 2.8. You’re clearly expecting Montreal to put up the goals – so -1.5 is probably the value bet there.

happy canadian

Yea i think the habs are going to take it to them tonight, and price will be on his game. I would not want to be playing the Habs in the playoffs

just woke up to check on San Jose Sharks and they are up 7-2 in 3rd period 5mins played, Scott and Graeme question for you – don’t guys think Sharks will sweep this series, their offense is just damn effective, to score 5+ goals back to back….or do you guys still think Kings will win the series based on your Round one betting tips post/thoughts?

BetNHL.ca

At this time we honestly don’t know – but that Game 3 is one we’re incredibly curious about. Sharks offense is of course absolutely killing it and can score at will. But they’ve been two weird games where Kings launched a comeback, and then also blew a lead. Keeping Quick in was odd too. Honestly don’t know what to think for the next one.
