2-1 for the tips last night in what was yet another great night of NHL Playoff action.

First we had the Bruins to win -1.5 and they controlled this game from the opening faceoff until the end winning 4-1. We also had the Grand Salami over 20.5 and the night finished with a total of 25 goals. Our loss came from the player prop of Claude Giroux having over 2 shots and for the 2nd straight game he finished with 0 shots.

But it was a blast to watch all of the NHL playoff action last night. The Canadiens scored on their first shot of the game off the stick of the suddenly unstoppable Rene Bourque and won the game 3-2 to take a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Lightning. Although Giroux had no shots, the Flyers still managed to win against the Rangers 4-2 to even the series at a game apiece. And what really helped our Salami bet last night was the Sharks – Kings game which once again hit 9 goals when the Sharks won 7-2 and now lead the series 2-0.

Tonight we have 4 games to watch and as each night has been so far in these playoffs, we are in for some awesome NHL hockey.

Penguins vs Blue Jackets: Penguins win

After pulling out the upset victory in game 2 in Pittsburgh, the Blue Jackets come home with the series tied 1-1.

It was great that they won and showed the hockey world that you can beat the powerhouse Penguins with a team that doesn’t have a true superstar but instead plays a team approach.

But it’s hard to bet against a team that is as stacked as the Penguins are. And sure Fleury gives up plenty of goals, 7 over the first 2 games, but as long as Crosby, Malkin and company hold up their end of the bargain and put up goals the Penguins can afford to give up 3 or more.

Bet the Penguins to win for 1.76 betting odds at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.

Home vs Away Goals: Away +0.5

With all of the series going back to the teams home ice who are ranked lower this seems like a safe bet.

We are betting that the away teams will score 0.5 more goals then the home teams. For this we have the Penguins, Avalanche, Blues and Ducks to out score the Jackets, Wild, Blackhawks and the Stars.

With the exception of the Penguins -Jackets series, which is tied at 1-1, all of the away teams hold a 2-0 lead. Can’t see any blow outs happening for the home teams

Playoff Player Prop: Seguin Over 3 Shots

The Stars have their backs against the wall and a loss in this game will have them down 3-0 against the 1st place team in the Western Conference the Anaheim Ducks.

This team is lead by Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn and they won’t go down without a fight.

Seguin had 5 shots in the first game and 3 in the second. You know that he will be going all out in this game not only for the home town Dallas fans but to also stop the Ducks from taking a 3-0 lead.

Bet that Tyler Seguin will have over 3 shots in game 3 at Carbon Sports

We haven’t yet. We’ll probably look at setting something up next season as we brought FanDuel up fairly late on in the season.
