February continues to be good for us. After a 2-1 win on Saturday, we went 2-1 last night.

Unfortunately it should’ve been either 2-0 or a push, but the Over 5 in the Canucks vs Bruins game never materialized with a completely quiet 3rd period. We did have a win in that game though, with the Bruins winning in regulation. Also really nice to see Boychuk step up last night – he was very impressive.

Our other win was in the Habs vs Flames game. Montreal shut out the hot Flames to win 2-0 in a nice victory. Price put in a solid outing, and I’m looking forward to him doing the business in the Olympics.

Jobin Calworth asked us yesterday in the comments if we were doing to be doing some sort of Olympic contest or challenge. To be honest we hadn’t even thought about it – but it’s a great idea, and of course we will! We’re thinking some sort of player pool, and we’re just working out the specifics right now. Also of course – talking with an online sportsbook to hopefully throw something into the prize pool!

We’ll hopefully have news on that by the weekend. Be sure to subscribe below so you get all the news about our Olympic contest:

And I’m ALMOST getting tired of whining about it – but not quite. Another massive snowstorm has hit Ontario. 15-20cm of snow and as I look out my window all I can see is a blizzard as it’s still snowing. Seriously – so bloody done with Winter.

Alrighty – let’s get to the NHL Betting Tips for February 5th 2014. Only 3 games tonight.

Home Teams vs Away Team Goals: Away Teams +0.5

This is a bet available at http://www.5Dimes.eu(Need to register to see lines).

We’ve got Pittsburgh against Buffalo, the Blackhawks against the Ducks and the Stars against the Sharks.

Pittsburgh look good to beat the Sabres, while Anaheim have been struggling at home. Hossa is probably being rested tonight which is understandable – but the Blackhawks can still do the business without him. Dallas match up very well with San Jose. Both games have went to a shootout with either team splitting the wins. Stars are on a hot road trip, and this should be a good game.

Back this one at http://www.Intertops.eu.

Value Bet: Stars vs Sharks: Stars To Win

I’m going to have to bet Dallas outright as well. The value on this one is just too good to ignore. We’re getting 2.70 odds for them to win – and that INCLUDES overtime and a shootout.

As I said – these teams in terms of a matchup are very close. Sharks should be favourites for sure with their home record, but Dallas can battle well with them and I’d have this one more around 2.20.

Back that at http://www.Bovada.lv for Americans and http://www.Bodog.eu for everyone else..
