Tremendous night of betting last night!

We went 2-0 with the official tips. We had the Flyers to beat the Habs and sadly they did that with relative ease. We also had the Avs to stop the Senators streak, and in a tight win they etched out 4-3 winners.

Also although it wasn’t an official tip and won’t count in the stats, I suggested doing a parlay with the Avs, Flyers and Rangers. All 3 of those won. If you had bet at Bet365, who offer up to 50% more on parlays and accumulators a $20 bet would’ve won about $132, give or take. Not too bad for one nights work!

So after a relatively quiet night of hockey, although a few good close games, we’ve got a better schedule tonight. We have 9 games on board. Some really interesting ones like the Wild vs the Coyotes, and the Bruins vs the Kings. Leafs vs Hurricanes should be quite an interesting one too.

It’s January 9th, 2014 and it’s not as cold out as it has been thankfully. Let’s get to the tips. We’re on a sick run January so far let’s hope it continues!

Blues vs Flames: Blues -1.5

If you want to play it safer, you can go with the win in regulation for 1.83 odds. But I am digging the -1.5 handicap at 2.60 odds. Big price due to the Blues being on the road.

In their prior matchups, Blues won 3-2 and Flames won 4-3. They’ve always been tight matchups. But St Louis are a machine right now. They are so cohesive and working so well together. Flames are sometimes able to pull out the upset(ie: Avs), but I think we have to go with the Blues to do another demolition job here. Flames home record has been very poor lately and being at home isn’t a big a factor as it should be.

I’m going with the Blues to hand out another beating, and backing that at http://www.5Dimes.eu(Need to register to see lines).

Kings vs Bruins: Under 5 Goals

Going to go with Under 5 goals here, even though there’s a good chance of a push.

LA have been having problems scoring lately. However with Quick back we’re seeing them, no surprise, tightened up a lot when it comes to conceding goals. I like this one to be 2-1(to either team) enough or even 1-0 that I’m going to go with the Under 5 goals.

One other thing – at Bet365 you can actually bet on the correct score, so if you think one team is more likely to win say 2-1, then you can back that. Both of them are 8.50 odds.

Another one, if you feel like gambling, also at Bet365, is backing Race to 3 Goals as neither. 3.10 odds for that one in what is expected to be a tight affair.

Leafs vs Hurricanes: Over 5.5

Call me crazy – but I like the boys from Toronto to take this one. I’m not betting it – but I think they will sneak out the win.

Instead I’m going with the over. These two teams played about 2 weeks ago and it was a crazy open game, with both teams just firing the shots. Leafs had 53 to the Hurricanes 81. I’m liking another very offensive and open game like that. Carolina are scoring a fair bit at the moment, and even in their losses Toronto are good for a few goals usually.

I’m going with a repeat of December 29th, with a lot of shots and hopefully a lot of goals.
