Well we went 1-2 last night but it was close to being a 2-1.
We had the Islanders vs Penguins game going over 5.5 and thought this game would just be a goal fest. Well not so. The Pens came away with the 3-1 win ending the Isles win streak at 4. In this game Crosby became the 6th fastest player in history to reach 500 assists. If you haven’t heard of him, he’s pretty good and looks to have a bright future in the NHL.
Also had the Maple Leafs to win and bounce back in the 2nd half of their home and home against the Red Wings. But the Red Wings and Leafs needed OT for the first goal to be scored and it was Zetterberg who scored with 10 seconds left to win the game 1-0 for the Wings. Zetterberg was a beast over these two games winning this one with a goal after having 4 assists the night before.
Our win came from the rested Lightning and their 4-2 win over the Canucks. Stamkos needed all of 53 seconds to score the first goal in this one and added another and an assist.
The Flyers picked up their first W of the season in a 6-5 OT win over the Stars, the Habs, and Subban who scored twice, moved to 5-1 after their 3-2 win over the Avs and the Sens won their 4th straight game beating the Blue Jackets 3-2.
A decent Sunday of NHL action with 4 games taking place the first game starting at 3:00pm and the last at 8:00pm. Add in the NFL and a bunch of beers and we got ourselves a fantastic Sunday!!

This should be a good game between two of the best teams in the West.
The Wild have only played 3 games going 2-1 with both wins coming against Colorado.
The Kings are looking like they’re avoiding the Stanley Cup hangover just fine going 3-1-1 in their first 5 which is unusual for a Kings team that likes to just barely sneak into the playoffs where they do damage.
The Wild are going to give Backstrom his first start of the season in this game. He has been a great goalie over his career but is starting to show signs of decline but the home team Kings are going to take advantage of this and come out on top in this game.

Flames vs Jets Betting Tips
Well before the season started we all expected the Flames to be horrible. But so far they have managed to be competitive going 3-3 and keeping games close while beating the Oilers, Preds and Hawks.
The Jets won their first game against the Arizona Coyotes and then lost their next 3 which takes us to tonight’s game.
The Flames have played well against strong competition so you have to like their chances against a team that, on paper, is about the same as them.

Blues vs Ducks Betting Tips
This is the game I’m looking forward to the most.
Two teams who will be battling for the Western Conference lead all season and this one could go either way.
Neither team has any glaring weaknesses and both have started out the season strong.
I would like to tip this game with Over 5,and I will be placing that bet myself, but this game could end with either a 1-0 or 2-0 score or a 6-5 one and it’s tough to make that the tip.
