Only 1 tip yesterday and it was a loss.

I went with the Predators to continue their amazing road run and win in regulation against the Ducks.  The Ducks scored first and the Preds answered but this game went all the way to a shootout where the Ducks won it.

Looking at the results from yesterday, it was a tough night to predict.

The Hawks struggles continued when they lost their 8th in a row this time to the Hurricanes 3-2 in OT.  This was a tough game to call.  Sure the Hawks have looked like garbage but it was Cam Ward playing in Carolina for the first time since the trade.

The Rangers beat the Canucks 2-1 and with the win Lundqvist tied Jacques Plante for 7th place on the all time wins list.  Radulov scored in his first game back but it wasnt enough for the Stats who lost to the Blue Jackets 2-1.

The Hall of Fame inducted its newest members yesterday. Among the inductees were Martin Brodeur, Marty St. Louis, Jayna Hefford, Willie O’Ree and Gary Bettman.  It makes me feel old when I remember when Brodeur and St. Louis came into the league and here they are in the Hall.  Both were incredible and deserving of this honour.

A nice busy day of NHL action for us with with 9 games

Maple Leafs vs Kings  Betting Tips:

The Leafs took their first road loss of the season in their last game.  I expect them to get back to their winning road ways in this one.

The Kings are having a rough year so far. They’re 5-10-1 and now Jack Campbell is going to miss about 6 weeks.  They are already without Jonathan Quick and now they will be going with Peter Budaj.  A tough season just got tougher for them.

The Leafs should take advantage of the Kings goalie issue and win this game with ease.  I was close to taking the -1.5 but decided to go with a regulation win instead.

Predators vs Sharks Betting Tips:

The Preds lost yesterday but the game needed OT so the still haven’t lost in regulation on the road.  I would think that they are going to come out swinging in this game after the small bump in the road from yesterday.

The Sharks have won their last 3 games at home and will be looking to push that to 4 in this game.  Erik Karlsson is still looking for his first goal with the Sharks and I think once he gets that off of his back he will go on a run and remind us of his talent and why he has a Norris Trophy.

Over the last 10 games between these teams their has been an average of 6.60 GPG.  I like that to continue.  And the line is set at 5.5 so I like it even more.  I expected it to be at 6 and wouldnt be surprised if they do change it.
