Hello and welcome to November. We hope everyone had a good Halloween. My 3 kids brought home a bunch of goodies and I can’t wait to help them eat them and that’s the least I can do after walking around chasing them for hours.

We had 2 tips yesterday and went 1-1.

Our win was the Ducks to win against the Canadiens and they did winning 4-2.  Getzlaf picked up a assist on the Terry goal and in doing so passed Teemu Selanne for most points ever in Ducks franchise history with 989.

Our loss was the Hurricanes -1.5  against the Coyotes.   The Canes won but it was only by a goal 2-1.   The Canes are still undefeated going 8-0 which is the best start in franchise history and is tied for 4th longest win streak to start a season in NHL history.  The Coyotes are still winless and dropped to 0-8-1.
The Kings beat the Sabres 3-2,  the Jackets beat the Devils 4-3 in overtime and the Rangers beat the Kraken 3-1.

Only 3 games today which is a nice and easy way to start November.

Capitals vs Lightning Betting Tips:

This could be a great game but it depends on which version of these teams show up.

I have no idea who wins.   The Caps have yet to lose in regulation going 5-0-3, the Lightning are on a 2 game win streak bringing their record to 4-3-1.

Was thinking about going with the over but I’m not so sure about that.  Both teams in top 10 in GPG but they played once already and it was a 2-1 OT win for the Lightning.   I feel best just avoiding this game altogether.

Senators vs Blackhawks Betting Tips:

The Sens are 3-4, the Hawks 0-7-2.  Sure it seems easy to bet on the Sens against the Hawks who are still searching for their first win.

But the Hawks will eventually snap their losing skid and it’s Ottawa who hasn’t been super great this year and the Hawks are at home where they are usually a better team then when on the road.

I’m skipping this one.

Kraken vs Oilers Betting Tips:

The Kraken, for an expansion team, have done ok.   The Oilers are 6-1.

Seems like an easy pick on the Oilers right?  Well the odds make this game unbetable.  A regulation Oilers win are under 1.70 Odds and even the Oilers -1.5 is only 2.00.  Just not worth the risk.   The Oilers last game was a 2-1 win against the Canucks and the game before that was a loss.

Another game where I’m skipping it.

Sometimes the best bet is the one you don’t make.

To WIN ML: Edmonton Oilers

Below 1.70, but with high certainty.
I really like the Oilers setup. They are at home facing the new kids on the block for the first time. Kraken have a lot of injuries and their look-ahead is having a full week off, so they should see this game as a throw-away; they need to focus on getting healthy, leave Edmonton with no new injuries, and the Kraken are on a back-to-back with travel, after being beat 3-1 at home yesterday by the Rangers. Kraken are horrible on the powerplay. Tonight is a setup all in the Oilers favor, who are at home to Nashville on Wednesday (no major threat), and who will hate the fact that rivals the Flames are one point up on them today. I am wondering about Oilers on the puckline, it could easily happen.

Good evening from Germany, all in all October didn’t brought great profit, so let’s see what will bring us November.

My only bet today is +1,5 in 1st period in Chicago. It is too early to trust the stats, but Hawks are 3-1 at home and the Sens are 2-0 away with over in the 1st.

Furthermore the Hawks has to start the season yet and is there a better opponent than the Sens at home?

Good bets everyone!
