2 games yesterday and we had no tips.
The Sabres beat up the Habs 7-2. Skinner had 5 points. The Sabres looked great in the much needed win which snapped their losing skid at 8 games.
The Rangers were down 2-0 after the 1st but came back to pick up the 5-3 win. The Kings had their 5 game home win streak ended. Kreider scored twice in the 3rd for the win.
15, yes 15, games tonight. There are no games tomorrow. I’ll go over each game briefly as it’s going to take a while to get this done and I have to work in a couple of hours and have stuff to do before. Happy Thanksgiving to all of our American readers.
Blues vs Sabres
The Blues have won 7 straight games, the Sabres have momentum after easily beating the Habs yesterday.
The Blues beat a couple strong teams during this win streak but also had a couple against the Ducks in there.
I do like the Blues chances here but the Sabres finally picked up a win so they may be flying for this one. I’d need to take the Blues in regulation. I’m skipping this game.
Bruins vs Panthers
Bruins have won their last 7 games and are 6-2 on the road. The Panthers have lost their last 3 and are 5-2-2 at home.
They played once this season with the Bruins winning 5-3.
It’s hard to bet against the Bruins right now. They are first in GPG and GAPG and are top 10 in all other important stats.

Leafs vs Devils
The Leafs blew the lead and lost their last game. They are 3-3-2 on the road.
The Devils have won their last 13 games and can set a new Devils franchise record if they can win this game.
It’s hard to bet against the Devils right now as they look amazing. They are ranked 2nd in goals for, 2nd in goals allowed, 2nd in shots on goal, 1st in shots allowed its really incredible what they are doing.
They are at home here and they have gone 8-2 in New Jersey. The Leafs defense is banged up so the Devils should take advantage of that.

Flames vs Penguins
Two winning streaks here with the Flames winning their last 2 and the Pens their last 3. The Flames are 9-7-2, the Pens 9-7-3.
They have played once this season and the Flames won 4-1.
The Pens are the favorites here but we can’t overlook the Flames. This should be a good game but no tip
Jets vs Wild
Nothing I like here.
Jets on the road where they have gone 4-3-1. The Wild at home where they have gone 3-5-1.
The Wild are a better team then their record would suggest and I think the Jets aren’t as good as their record.
I have to skip this game as I have a hard time figuring out which teams record is accurate.
Coyotes vs Hurricanes
Both teams on losing skids.
The Coyotes have lost their last 4 and the Canes their last 3.
The Canes need to snap this losing skid and are at home for this one. I like the Canes but need to take them -2.5 which I can’t do.
Canadiens vs Blue Jackets
Nothing from this game. Easy pass for me
Predators vs Red Wings
It’s another game where there’s nothing I like.
I would lean towards a Wings win but the Preds are pretty unpredictable.
Oilers vs Islanders
The Oilers are a frustrating team to follow. They are 10-9 on the year yet are ranked 6th in GPG, 2nd in Power play % and 5th in shooting %.
The Isles are in 3rd in the Metro and ranked in the middle of the league in most stats.
Skipping this one as I don’t trust the Oilers and which version of them will show up for this game.
Flyers vs Capitals
Nothing for this game. Both teams struggling.
Blackhawks vs Stars
The Hawks show life in most of their games but take the loss more often than not. They are ranked 32nd in GPG, 31st in shots per game and 24th in GAPG.
The Stars are doing well. They are in 1st in the Central and have gone 6-2-2.
I do like the Stars to win but we would need to take them -1.5 and I’m not comfortable doing that.
Canucks vs Avalanche
All signs point to an Avalanche win. They are ranked 6th in GPG, 1st in Power play % and 4th in GAPG. They are at home where they have gone 4-2-1.
The Canucks are on the road where they have gone 3-6-2 and 4-5-1 over their last 10.
The Canucks have shown some life recently with the rumor of their coach may be getting fired.
I do like the Avs to win but it would need to be in regulation and maybe the Canucks show up and make a game of this.
Rangers vs Ducks
The Rangers played last night and had a big comeback win.
The Ducks continue to struggle going 3-7 over their last 10. They rank at or near the bottom in almost all of the statistics and that isn’t a good sign for a team with lots of young talent.
Rangers should win this one but the Rangers should have won more games then they have. With them playing last night I’m skipping.
Senators vs Knights
Over the last 10 games these teams have opposite records with the Sens 2-7-1 and the Knights 7-2-1.
Sens road record is 1-5-1, the Knights home record is 6-3. The Knights are ranked 5th in both GPG and GAPG which is going to lead them to victories.
With the Knights at home I’m fine taking them to win in regulation.

Sharks vs Kraken
Both teams are coming off of wins.
The Sharks are 4-3-3 over their last 10. The Kraken are 7-2-1.
The Sharks road record is 5-4, the Kraken home record is 5-4-2. The Kraken are ranked 14th in GPG, the Sharks 23rd. The Kraken are 9th in GAPG, the Sharks 19th.
Gotta skip as I feel both teams are playing better than they actually are.

Lean: full game Over 6.0: Flames/Penguins
Strong lean on the puckline win for Dallas. Tonight, Jersey will come out with maximum motivation, and the Leafs are such tourists, have a banged-up defense, and I’ve never been a fan of them. Colorado at home, good stuff. Columbus can’t stop a puck, Montreal can’t stop a puck, and Montreal takes a lot of penalties, they’re on a back-to-back and may take even more stupid penalties, so that game ought to generate goals at a good pace.
