A perfect 3-0 night last night.

We had the Kings to win against the Panthers and they won 3-1.  The win snapped the Kings losing streak at 2 games.  The win must have felt great for Jonathan Quick who was pulled during their previous games against the Hurricanes.

Next we had the Capitals to win in regulation against the Oilers.  This was a close one.  The game was tied 0-0 after the 1st 2 periods but with just over 6 minutes remaining in the 3rd, Dmitry Orlov scored the only goal to give the Caps the 1-0 win.  Huge game from Caps goalie Holtby who made 33 saves for the shutout.

The last tip of the night was the Rangers to continue their strong play at home and beat the Predators and they did when they won 3-0.  The Rangers are on fire having won 11 of their last 12 games. Lundqvist is putting together and amazing season. This was his 2nd shutout of the year and in the 17 games he’s played he is 12-3-2 with a 1.74 GAA.

A slow night of hockey tonight with only 2 games scheduled: Senators vs Stars and Flames vs Ducks.

Let’s keep the streak going with the NHL Betting Tips for Tuesday, November 24th

Senators vs Stars Betting Tips:

This is a game between two teams who have been playing some good hockey so this should be a great game.

The Sens are on a 2 game win streak while the Stars are riding a 5 game streak of their own.  Ottawa goalie Craig Anderson is on a 2 game shutout streak but will surely be tested in this game.  The Stars are 2nd in the league in goals scored.

Sure the Sens have been playing some great hockey but their 2 wins came against teams who have struggled all year, the Flyers and the Blue Jackets, so they’ll be tested in this one.  The Stars have won the last 7 games against the Sens so I don’t see that stopping tonight.

Stars in regulation  is the tip for this game.

Flames vs Ducks Betting Tips:

This is a tough game to predict.  The Flames are on a 2 game winning streak and are looking for their first 3 game win streak of the season.  The Ducks are looking to bounce back after getting pounded 5-0 by the Lightning on Saturday.

The Ducks have owned the Flames when the play each other in Anaheim.  They have won the last 20 games against the Flames when they’re at home.  If the Ducks win this game they’ll do it in a convincing fashion after their last game.

Ducks in regulation  is the tip.  There’s no value in a Ducks win so we have to go with the win in regulation to bring the odds up.

Hey, english is my second language and couldn’t find any description of what regulation means in this scenario. Please explain the difference between regulation and just normal win. Thx for the tips btw 🙂

Graeme

In regulation means within the first 60 minutes. For example – Ducks in regulation. If that goes to overtime no matter who wins – we’d lose the bet.

A lot of sportsbooks list it differently like money line 3-way etc. What sportsbook do you bet at? I can tell you exactly what it’s called there.

Fredrik Storihle

ah, just as i thought then i use unibet its called ordinary playtime over there, thanks for the quick reply. Do you guys post how much you bet aswell or keeping that to yourself?

Graeme

Yeah when you go to Unibet where they have the 1/X/2 right on the NHL page is what you’re looking for.

And no we don’t – we just list it in units as honestly that’s the way people should always be thinking of their bankroll anyway – in units as opposed to financial amounts.

Fredrik Storihle

i see, do you make 2 bets for the matches or one bet with both matches?

Graeme

Individual bets every match. Despite our recent hot run – it’s hard enough getting one tip right let alone 2 or 3 🙂 Parlays, trebles etc just aren’t worth betting.

Fredrik Storihle

Alright, thanks for the great responses and tips 🙂

Top work yesterday chaps. Won me £60 which I’ve just turned into £300!

Graeme

Good job man – that’s a high increase through so now you’ve got 300 be sure to start some proper bankroll management. It can be a grind at times but it’s the best way to protect yourself financially.

Withdrawn in the bank bud 😉

Just a small bet on todays tips ?

What do you think about -1.5 stars at 2.67?

Graeme

Ottawa have lost by 2 or more goals only 5 times this season. Although oddly enough every time they lose in regulation it’s been by 2 or more.

Random little fact that I’d have to look more into and missed earlier. So based on that it’s pretty good. Although we stayed away from it as the majority of Stars wins over Sens have been by 1 goal, and at home they’ve had a lot of tight victories.

I don’t hate it – that’s for sure. However Sens have been a strong team and we just preferred to have the Stars needing just the 1 goal lead.
