There was 4 games yesterday and we had 1 tip which didn’t come through for us.

We took the Habs to beat the Canucks but the Canucks won 2-1.  With the win the Canucks stopped their losing streak at 4 games. Looking back I still feel like it was the right play but as we all know that in hockey anything can happen.

McCann and Appleton both scored twice for the Kraken when they beat the Sabres 7-4.  They opened the game scoring 2 short-handed goals.  This was the most goals the Kraken have scored in a game since joining the league.

Karel Vejmelka stopped 46 shots to earn his first NHL shutout when the Coyotes beat the Jets 1-0.  The Flames beat the Penguins 2-1 in a shootout  in what was a tight game.  They needed 7 rounds for the shootout to be completed.

For tonight we have 8 games scheduled.

Capitals vs Panthers Betting Tips:

This behind be a good game between two of the best teams in the league.

They have played each other twice this season with the Capitals winning the most recent 4-3 and the Panthers winning the first 5-4 in overtime.

On the year the Capitals are ranked 5th in GPG with 3.55 and are ranked 13th in Corsi For.  The Panthers are ranked 3rd in GPG with 3.67 and 1st for Corsi For.

Tough to call a winner here.  The Caps have won 3 in a row and the Panthers have dropped their last 2.  Instead of picking a winner I’ll go with the Over as both teams have shown they can score.

Blue Jackets vs Predators Betting Tips:

Both teams are coming into this game off of losses.

For the Jackets their last 2 games were high scoring; a 6-3 loss to the Blues and a 4-2 win against the Canucks.  The Preds last 3 were high scoring; a 6-2 loss to the Avalanche, a 4-2 win against the Devils and a 5-2 loss to the Knights.

They are close in the standings record wise with the Preds in 5th in the Central with 23 points and the Jackets 5th in the Metro with 24 points.  Let’s go with the Over and hope both teams will keep their trends going.

Over 5.5 incl OT/SO

Red Wings vs Bruins Betting Tips:

The Wings have lost their last 4 road games, the Bruins are 7-3 in Boston.

To get any value on the Bruins we would need to take them in at least regulation which only has odds around 1.70 so I’m skipping this game

Coyotes vs Wild Betting Tips:

Much like yesterday’s game when the Coyotes played the Jets, and won, they are underdogs here.

If I was to take the Wild -1.5 it’s only around 1.70 which makes this a no play.

Hurricanes vs Stars Betting Tips:

I was leaning towards a Canes win but backed away.

The Stars have won 4 in a row and have gone 7-3 in their last 10.  The Canes are 6-3-1 in thier last 10.  It’s hard to bet against the Canes as they won all of their games in October but they are also getting hit with some Covid problems right now as Bear, DeAngelo and Pesce are all out.  Gardiner is out with an injury so 4 of their top 6 defensmen are missing.

Sharks vs Devils Betting Tips:

I have no idea who wins this game.

The Sharks are 5-5 over thier last 10 games and on the road this season they have gone 6-5.  The Devils are 5-3-2 and when in New Jersey they have gone 6-3-2.

Lightning vs Blues Betting Tips:

The Lightning are still without Point and Kucherov, the Blues are missing Perron, Kostin and Neal.

The odds are close for this game and I get it as it’s a tough one to call and either team could win.

Ducks vs Kings Betting Tips:

These are always great games when neighbors play each other.

In the month of November the Kings have had 5 games go to extra time, the Ducks had only 2.

Again when rivals meet each other its easy to overlook their success or records of the season.  Like when Montreal plays Boston or the Leafs play the Sens teams show up more for these games.

Hi Guys, bad start for me for my first intervention yesterday in comments. And in addition, sorry I did not presented. I am olivier, I am 45, and look at hockey with lots of attention for a few time. In general I am not too bad in prognosics on different sports, but hockey is particular in the variance as Grademe says. I have a lot to learn is certain. I use naturalstattrick but not obvious for a novice. With the time and training I will probably happen to find the information I need more quickly. I will use a translator when I post messages to be faster for me so do not be surprised if the screws of sentences are very bad 😅 in any case happy to find a website as the one was foundede Graeme and Scott, and happy to read you! See you soon.

Washington versus Florida feels like a coinflip to me but odds don’t reflect that, so I will take Washington on the Moneyline @ 2.22. I believe it’s the right play mathematicaly, so even if I loose here, I’ll happily continue to make this kind of play for the long run gain

For today, I see surprises. Basically, I never look at the odds before making my prognosis for not to influence my choices and trust in the selected teams. Washington, Tampa Bay and Columbus for tonight. But on the other hand, I would not play Minnesota and Boston who have too small odds.

Malvicious NHL

Coyotes vs Wild over 5.5

Backup goalie Kaapo Kahkonen is the confirmed starter for the Wild and he’s a considerable downgrade from Cam Talbot, posting a lousy .873 SV%. All of his 4 starts this season have hit the over, while he conceded 2 or more goals in each of them. In fact, 8 out of 9 home games for the Wild so far this season have hit the over, so their home crowd really seems to get them going. No confirmation on the Yotes starter goalie yet. Karel Vejmelka impressively shut out the Jets last night, stopping all 46 shots, so it’s probably gonna be Scott Wedgewood. No matter which goalie the Yotes will turn to, both are pretty solid. But considering the Wild beat some top notch goalies in their recent high scoring home wins, like Lightning’s Andrei Vasilevskiy and Jets’ Connor Hellebuyck, they shouldn’t have trouble scoring versus the back-to-back Yotes.
Enjoy the games and good luck everyone!
