A slow Sunday with only 2 games. We had 2 tips and went 1-1.

Our win was the pick of the Capitals to win in regulation against the Flames. Vrana scored his first career hat trick and the Caps won 4-2. The World Series winning Washington Nationals were honored and seemed to enjoy themselves going crazy for each Capitals goal.

The loss of the day was the tip of the Ducks to beat the Blackhawks in regulation. The Hawks won 3-2 in OT. As has been the way with the Hawks this season they managed to almost blow it after leading 2-0 after the 1st. Patrick Kane scored for the Hawks in OT for the win.

For the poll question we asked if either of the underdogs would win, which would or would both favourites win. The Blackhawks won and they had 16% of the vote. Both favorites would win ran away in this poll with 71% of the vote.

For today we have only 4 games.

Senators vs Rangers Betting Tips:

The Sens have looked like shit through the first month of the season. They are a rebuilding team so this was expected.

The Rangers are also rebuilding but have looked like a much better team than the Sens. They have won 2 in a row and those wins were against good teams; the Predators and the Lightning.

Its Nilsson in goal for the Sens and Georgiev for the Rangers so the edge already goes to New York based on those goalies numbers this season.

With the way the Rangers have played over their past 2 games I like their chances against a struggling Ottawa team

Rangers win in regulation – 0.5u
