We had only the one tip yesterday and it came through for us.
We had the Jets in regulation against the Kings and they did win 2-1. Kovalchuk scored his first goal since returning to the NHL. This was a close game and the Jets took a penalty with 3 minutes left in the game. The Kings pulled their goalie to have a 6-4 man advantage but couldn’t convert.
It was the Flyers home opener and it will be one they will want to forget as the Sharks pounded them 8-2. Elliott was in goal for all 8 San Jose goals. Kane and Pavelski both scored twice for the Sharks
The Maple Leafs beat the Stars 7-4. Matthews and Tavares both scored twice. The Flames shutout the Preds 3-0. The Canes beat the Canucks 5-3 for their 3rd straight win which is their best start since coming to Carolina from Hartford
A fairly slow night tonight with only 3 games.
Flyers vs Senators Betting Tips:
After last nights performance from the Flyers we have to think that they show up and try to make up for that embarrassment of a home opener. The Flyers are expected to give Calvin Pickard the start in this one which will be his first in a Flyers jersey
The Sens are 1-1-1 so far this year and are going back to Anderson after giving Condon the start against Boston. This is the Sens first game of a 5 game home stretch.
I do think that we will see a better effort from the Flyers in this one and for the Sens one of their most obvious weaknesses is their defense but this was expected after trading Karlsson.

That all for tonight’s action. The Knights vs Capitals game is a tough one to call and with the history they have from playing each other in the finals makes for a great game but one I cant make a play on. The Coyotes – Ducks game has far to many injuries to both sides for me to make a pick. Missing from today’s game for the Coyotes are Galchenyuk and Dvorak, the Ducks are going to be without Getzlaf, Perry, Kesler and much more.
