Hey everybody.

We had two tips yesterday and went 2-0

Had the Avalanche vs Wild game to go Over 6.5 and this came through for us early in the 3rd when Kaprizov scored his 2nd of the game and brought the score to 4-3 Avs.  In the end it was a 6-3 Avalanche win.

Next had the Canes to win in regulation against the Kraken.  The Canes scored 1st early and won 5-1.  Svechnikov scored twice.

I’m glad I stayed away from the Leafs game.  They were big time favorites to win but the Coyotes,  yes the COYOTES, beat them 4-2 to pick up their first win of the season.

The Habs beat the Pens 3-2 in OT to move them to 2-2 on the year with their wins coming against strong teams the Pens and the Leafs.

The Caps beat the Canucks 6-4 in a good game that saw Ovechkin score his first 2 of the season.  The Bruins are now 3-0 after the beat the Panthers 5-3 so once Marchand and McAvoy are back they are going to be dangerous.

The Kings beat the Wings 5-4 in OT.  I mentioned that this game could go either way and they proved that.  The Rangers beat the Ducks 6-4.

Lots of game today but could only come up with 1 tip.

Ducks vs Devils

With the Ducks playing, and losing, last night could fatigue play a factor and give the Devils the edge to pick up their first win?

There is nothing I like from this game.  Both teams have some potential but I doubt we will see it this year, at least not right away.

Canucks vs Blue Jackets

The Canucks are still looking for their first win. They are taking on another winless team here so one things for sure, one team is getting their first win.

I really have no idea who is going to win this game.  The Canucks showed some life last night but blew a 4-2 lead after the 2nd allowing the Caps to score 4 unanswered.

The Jackets have had a tough schedule so far with games against the Canes, Lightning and the Blues.  I have to skip this one.

Bruins vs Senators

It’s hard to bet against the Bruins right now.  They have been playing great and beaten the Caps and Panthers who are no push overs.

But as much as my friend SDB will hate to hear this, the Bruins are going to lose at least one game this year.  I’m not saying it’s this game, I like them to win here, but missing two huge pieces of the team is going to eventually catch up to them.

The odds for a Bruins win are good considering how well they have played.

Flyers vs Lightning

The Flyers have won their first 2 games of the season with wins over the Devils and the Canucks.  The Lightning are 1-2 but this will be their home opener.

Anytime the Lightning are playing they have to be taking seriously.  And they are at home for the first time this season so they will be looking to make a statement.

The odds make this unplayable for me.

Sharks vs Islanders

The Sharks are already in trouble having lost their first 4 games of the season.  They have scored only 6 goals over those games.

The Isles are 1-1 after opening the season with a loss to the Panthers but bounced back with a big 7-1 over the Ducks.

I don’t expect much from either team this year.  The Sharks look awful and the Isles did nothing to improve in the off-season.

Knights vs Flames

This should be a good game.  Both teams are deep and both are expected to make the postseason.

The Knights are 3-0 after beating Kings,  Blackhawks and Kraken.  The Flames are 2-0 after beating the Avalanche and the Oilers.

Looking at the teams they have played, and beat, up until this point the Flames have faced tougher teams.  And the goaltending situation favors the Flames here too.

But this is a tough game to call and I feel better skipping it at this point in the season.

Sabres vs Oilers

Both teams are 1-1 but the Oilers are the heavy favorites here and for obvious reasons.

The Oilers are opening the season with 6 straight home games so they need to take advantage of this before the head out on the road.

Another game where the odds, this early in the season, make it unplayable.

Kings vs Predators

The Kings have won 2 straight after opening with 2 losses.  The Preds have done the opposite winning their first 2 and dropping the next 2.

With the Preds at home and looking to win a game in North America maybe this is the game.  But the Kings are riding some momentum so it’s not going to be easy.

I don’t know who’s going to win this game and nothing is jumping out at me so I’m skipping.

Thank you for the tips and the shout out, Scott. Also, good call on the Canes last night, WR and I were also on them and they won convincingly.

Like most Bruins fans I am usually underestimating how well my team will do. Without three major pieces including their top scorer I had them stumbling to start the season off. Maybe the return of Krejci or the new coach bump is making the difference. Whatever it is, ride the wave. Bruins ML +110

Devils-Ducks – both of these teams are playing AHL defense and leaking goals like crazy. GA so far: Ducks 6-7-4 Devils 5-5. Over 6 -150

LVK-Flames – Over is 6-0-1 in the last seven meetings in Calgary. Easy pick Over 6 -145

That’s all I’ve got, GLTA SDB

return of debrusk yesterday immediately paid off as well. quick goal and another nice steal and backhand no look pass to set up bergeron looked like he didn’t miss a beat. wanted to take them tonight after getting em as underdogs yesterday but ultimately will sit it out off the back to back leaving the country and possible energy dump from the result, tough to get excited about playing the sens. also assuming swayman will be starting and i’ve liked the early results from ullmark better. came up with some clutch saves when the score was still 1-1. but the bruins are clicking and getting production from more than just the top line.

solid reasoning–good call backing off this one

Good evening from Germany,

thanks to the Canadiens my start into the week was good. Had the feeling the 2.50 was too high and happily my feeling was right.

For today I only see the over in Calgary. Both teams have enough offensive power to make this a high scoring game.

Good luck everyone!

i read ur comment yesterday and also felt montreal were priced incorrectly at home but didn’t pull the trigger. good job by you on the solid payout.

I don’t see much I’m willing to bet on. This early in the season, tonight’s particular four back-to-backs put me off. Not going for the obvious OVER in the Oilers game and not on the Oilers to Win options, because the Oilers won’t care about this game at all; their next four games are Carolina, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, St. Louis. I need to see more out of the Islanders before I can figure out what they are, so not taking that WIN option either. Not taking the Boston full game OVER because Ottawa may be shut down and not contribute, resulting in something like a 4-1 total.

Strong Leans:
Boston on the puckline (Ottawa low goalsfor, Bruins are running very hot)
Calgary full game OVER 6.0
Weak Lean: Full game OVER: New Jersey (can’t yet depend on either team to show up with all their adrenaline, and Anaheim on a back-to-back here)

FFS! 3-0 and not even the end of per 1
