A great night full of hockey yesterday.  We went 1-1 with the tips.

The Devils beat the Coyotes 4-3 and we had the Devils in regulation.  This was the Coyotes 11th loss in a row and tied the NHL record for worst start to a season.

The Flyers beat the Leafs 4-2.  Leaf fans are quick to blame Andersen but the guy faces so many shots each night that you can’t put all the blame on him.

The Caps were down 2-0 but stormed back to win against the Oilers 5-2

Tavares scored a natural hat trick as the Isles beat the Preds 6-2.   The Ducks kept Stamkos and Kucherov off the score sheet as they beat the Lightning 4-1.  The Habs were up 3-0 and let the Rangers back into it but managed to get the 5-4 win.

Overall it was a great night of hockey.

We have only 3 games today so let’s get to the tips.

Penguins vs Jets  Betting Tips:

The Penguins are in a bit of a funk when it comes to scoring goals at the moment scoring only 6 goals over their last 4 games.  But as we all know the Penguins have plenty of firepower and I don’t see this being a problem for much longer.

The Jets have lost 2 in a row and over the last 10 games against the Penguins they are 1-6-3 so it may be a tough game for them.

I have to go with the Penguins in this one and the odds are worth it.

Away vs Home Goals Betting Tips:

This is a prop bet and not part of our official tips. Just a fun bet for gambling with little action tonight.

For this bet we are betting on if the home teams or the away teams will score more goals on the night.

With the matchups today it seems like a night where the away teams will score more.

The Ducks are in Carolina to play the Hurricanes and I like the Ducks chances in this game.

I’ve already talked about the Penguins game.

The third game of the night is the Capitals in Calgary to play the Flames.  I like the Caps in this game.

The spread is 0.5 so for this bet we just need the away teams to score more than the home teams and even if its a tie we still win.

Away Teams +0.5

Huge win last night with my combo, +150units.
Tonight only Ducks in regular time with 5units.

SanDiegoBruinsD

nice, did it pay for all the ones you have lost?

magus1349

Usually i bet 1unit per combo and sometime 5units per single bet. Last night was an exception. Unibet gave me a bet without risk of 6 units. This season i won two combos. One give me + 25units, the other +150 units. Singles bets, i think win 5 or 6 and lost 4. I’m not sure. Allways odds was over 2.4.
So…what do you think?

SanDiegoBruinsD

It’s hard to know unless I know how many bets you’ve placed, but as I said before, nice win last night.

magus1349

Like i said, only one combo per night and sometime one single bet.

Lol can’t help but laugh at ignorance like this.. SDB clearly has lost too much and can’t congratulate other people’s wins. Nice hit magus

SanDiegoBruinsD

No need to call people names dude. I don’t do that I don’t have any tolerance for people doing it to me. S &G moderate these comments and ban people who get personal. Actually I did congratulate him. And what exactly am I being ignorant about? It seems like Magus is mostly betting parlays with 3-4 legs. That’s a very risky, low pay-off strategy that will result in a lot of losses. My question about whether his one hit paid for his other bets was a sincere question. By the way, I’ve been killing it, but I don’t brag about my wins.

PensFan

Never called you any names. Just stated my opinion of your comment at magus being ignorant

SanDiegoBruinsD

Just keep it civil man, it’s all I ask for. I certainly respect your opinions and any disagreement you have with my thoughts, but I don’t appreciate being called ignorant. I won’t disparage your comments or you and I ask you to do the same. peace out

SanDiegoBruinsD

3 for 4 today, finished up 23 units for the week.

PensFan

Congrats on the week and for proving your ignorance

Congrat … the heck if a combo .

what do you think about pinguins shots (-3.5)? sorry for my english i am from russia

SanDiegoBruinsD

Scott, I have to disagree with your Pens pick today. Pens are 0-3 on b2b and they have a rookie making his NHL debut. He’s killed it in the A, but how that translates to his first NHL game is another thing. Meanwhile, Hellebuyck has been very good. With a rookie backing them up I think Pens tighten up their D and on the other side Hellebuyck turns in another great performance against a tired Pens team. I like Jets to win tonight and the game to go under 6.

I also have Ducks to beat Canes. Ducks are coming off a huge win
vs Bolts and they’ll continue their winning ways to close out road trip with a winning record. Plus, Ryan Miller is making his Ducks debut and he’ll be ready. He’s a veteran with a lot of big game experience and he’ll be bringing his “A” game tonight.

Finally, I like Calgary tonight. Caps are 0-2 in b2b and have been playing really poorly lately. They got a good win vs Oilers (who suck right now) last night and there will be a let down tonight. Plus, Grubauer is in goal and he’s been absolutely terrible. On the other side Flames, who have also been erratic, have dropped dropped the last two and will be looking to turn things around vs a depleted Caps team who has a hard time getting up for the back end of b2bs.

Will still try with the Carolina in regulation, think they are well-prepared and know how strong is the next opponent.
+ Florida Panthers in regulation

I kind of like Carolina and Calgary today.. Ducks and Caps both had respond games yesterday after awful losses and those always take their toll on you mentally, playing the next night against home teams that should come out with desperate efforts themselves is a bad match. a bit scared of overtimes though as i ran them through my systems and got 37-39% on both, and the ML odds aren’t that great, so we’ll see what i end up doing. A bit annoying games in a sense that it pretty much comes down to whether or not the road teams have enough in the tank, if they do they can make a game out of it, if not it’s possible they just get trashed.

I’ll also roll with the Pens, as long as they come ready to play they should win and keep the streak against the Jets going. if DeSmith is in net that should give them some motivation to play a good game and not leave another backup hung out to dry. If the Jets finally beat them then so be it.
